Pauline Payne, 85

Pauline Payne, 85, of Fennville went to be with our Lord and her husband on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014. She passed with her family at her side, at Wings Home in Allegan.

Pauline was married to Clarence Payne for 38 years. She was a war bride, leaving London, England, after World War II. Clarence preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Steven and Gail Payne of Fennville and Mary and Gary Lonergan of Livonia; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Pauline was loved by anyone who had the privilege to be in her life.

The family would like to thank everyone from her friends to all the staff at Hospice for the last three years whom she called not friends but family for their compassion and love.

Mom didn't complain, and always left you feeling better and happy when you left. She will be greatly missed by all.

Cremation has taken place, and her family will announce a memorial service in her memory early this summer.

Memorial donations may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice 530 Linn St. Allegan, MI 49010.
