Cincinnati Orchestra kicks off Douglas Socials June 20

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Orchestra will perform a free 90-minute concert to kick off this summer’s Douglas Socials Friday, June 20, in Beery Field at 7 p.m.
Musical theatre fans will enjoy selections from “Les Miserables” and “Phantom of the Opera.” The ensemble will offer a “Tribute to the King” for Elvis Presley fans, plus patriotic tunes including “America the Beautiful,” “This is My Country” and its traditional summer finale, “The Stars and Stripes Forever.”
Families are invited to bring blankets, chairs and set up for a picnic on the field; or pick up an al fresco dinner in Douglas.
