Plainwell sets city hall move date

Daniel Pepper, Interim Editor

Moving on up—and slightly the to northwest—will be the plan for Plainwell City Hall.

City workers will be moving from the current city hall Tuesday, June 10, to the new one in the former Plainwell Paper mill administrative offices at 211 N. Main St.
“We will be closed Tuesday for the move and we’ll open up in the new city hall on Wednesday morning,” city clerk Noreen Farmer said.
The new city hall can be reached by parking at Fannie Pell Park and crossing the bridge over the Mill Race. The city offices are on the top floor and can be reached by stairs or elevator.
The city council meeting will be held as usual Monday, June 9 (today).
