Otsego High School students donate to Red Cross
Last week Otsego High School students completed their third blood drive of the year. About 60 students signed up to give blood at each of the three drives to try to donate; overall, the drives collected 140 pints of blood.
According to the American Red Cross, as many as three lives can be saved with every blood donation.
With three successful drives this year, the Red Cross will be donating $2,000 to the school for scholarships. The recipients will be announced at the annual Senior Swingout on Friday, May 22, at 1 p.m. in the gymnasium.
