Hamilton: Benefit ride
HAMILTON—The Allegan County Pleasure Riders will have their 45th annual benefit ride, starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Silver Creek County Park.
The event will raise money for Wings of Hope Hospice and Wings Home. Participants will be riding well-marked trails along the Allegan County Equestrian Trail System at the park, at the corner of 134th Avenue and 38th Street near Hamilton. There is both a short loop and longer loop. Donations are $25 minimum for individuals and $35 minimum per family, which covers the day’s riding fee, a raffle ticket, a T-shirt (one for individual, two for family) and lunch. Riding starts at 10 a.m. and must be completed on the trail by 4 p.m. No dogs are allowed on the trail. Registration is Friday, April 19, from 7 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 20, from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at the Silver Creek pavilion.
