Bloomingdale: Festival of Trees
BLOOMINGDALE—4-H Camp Kidwell’s 16th annual Festival of Trees is Nov. 29-Dec. 2, with free admission.
The holiday event for the family includes lights, food, music, Santa, more than 100 hand-decorated trees, wreaths, holiday items and decorating cookies with Mrs. Claus.
The online silent auction of trees and wreaths can be viewed at www.campkidwell.org.
Thursday, Nov. 29, from 12 noon-6 p.m. is senior citizen day and the silent auction begins.
Friday, Nov. 30, from 12 noon-9 p.m. is a soup and sandwich supper with live music starting at 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. is cookies with Mrs. Claus and pictures with Santa. The WMU Moment of Magic Princesses will join Mrs. Claus to help decorate cookies with the kids.
Dinner at the Lodge starts with a social at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 each and limited to the first 100 tickets sold. This adult-only event features a prime rib dinner and live auction of specially selected items.
Sunday, Dec. 2., from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Place your final bid on your favorite tree or wreath. Bidding ends at 4 p.m. Sunday lunch will be served 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
