This is me, definitely out of the office.

Out of the Basement Office: Prop1 feels like an incoming bodycheck

Ryan Lewis, Editor

In this week's issue, I yearn for clarity on the upcoming statewide vote for road funding—that, and I'm glad the Red Wings are in the playoffs.

More specifically, I write about the disparity between what I want out of the state in terms of road funding and what I'm presented on the ballot. Because it truly seems as though we have to choose on May 5 between rewarding poor legislation (ie, voting "yes" for Prop 1) or further (indefinitely?) delaying the much-needed repairs our roads need (ie, voting "no").

Read my thoughts about those things and much in the April 16 issue of The Allegan County News.
