Troy Lee Henry Glascott
Troy Lee Henry Glascott, firm in his faith in the Triune God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, went to his heavenly home on July 24, 2018.
Troy lived most of his life in Hopkins and was born in Plainwell on Dec. 16, 1964, and is survived by his three children, Ashley (Klint) Blaauw, Caitlin (Nick) Brummel and Joshua Glascott; his two grandchildren, Raelynn and Emry Blaauw; his parents, Joyce (Henry) Mead, Kenneth Glascott and his step-mom Shirley (Calkins/Martin) Glascott; his siblings, Jeff (Kelly) Glascott, Scott (Nancy) Glascott and Tamera “Tam Tam” (Brian) Baker, David (Kim) Martin, Donald (Jamie) Martin and Donna Martin (Yoash Raphael); and aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Troy was preceded in death by his step-dad Glen “Dad Toohey” Mead; and his grandparents, Leon and Hazel (Leggett) Glascott, and Wayne and Doris (Brenner) Henry.
Troy enjoyed fast motor sports, especially snowmobiling and motorcycling, also hunting, fishing, mushrooming, cooking, camping and time with family and friends.
He enjoyed being a master craftsman in autobody and car restoration and enjoyed his career as an Automotive Insurance Adjuster for several years.
Family and friends are invited to attend Troy’s celebration of life on Saturday, Aug. 11, at 5 p.m. for refreshments and visitation, and then at 6 p.m. for his memorial service, both to be held at St Peters Lutheran Church, 4125 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323.
