Mildred M. Beldon, 83

Mildred M. Beldon, 83, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015, at her home in Trowbridge Township. She was born May 31, 1931, in Allegan the daughter of DeForest and Marion (Schuler) Myers.
For many years she owned and operated Millie's Aloha Restaurant until her retirement in October 1993. In her spare time Mildred enjoyed gardening, sewing, scrapbooking to make cards, and all kinds of crafts from leftover sewing projects. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
On Dec. 18, 1948, at Otsego Baptist Church, she married Floyd Beldon who passed away in 1980.
Surviving are her children, Joann (James) Lumbard, Jean (Don) Thompson, Judy (Dale) Thompson and Joy (Kenneth) Darby; 10 grandchildren, Kim Milbocker, James Lumbard II, Ryan Thompson, Ike Thompson, Sy Thompson, Jason, Anthony and Jonathan Beldon, Kathleen Emmons and Haley Emmons; and by her eight great-grandchildren, Dakota Milbocker, Jessica Lumbard, McKenzie Thompson, Ava Jo Thompson, Dade Beldon, Noah Beldon, Natalie Beldon and Andrew Beldon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Floyd; son Thomas Beldon in 2003; her infant daughter Jill; and by her infant granddaughter Jody.
Friends may visit with Mildred's family Tuesday, May 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, where a funeral service will be Wednesday, May 13, at 1 p.m. Pastor James Davis will officiate. Honors will be by VFW Post 3030 Ladies Auxiliary. Burial will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery in Otsego.
Contributions in memory of Mildred may be made to 4-H Camp Kidwell.
