AMFCO foreman says employees were family
Having worked 12 years at the company his grandfather founded, Allegan Metal Finishing Company production foreman Joe Sosnowski said the fire Sunday that destroyed the Allegan business had left him and its employees in “total shock.”
He speaks above about how AMFCO’s 80 employees were a family that had worked together for years—and in many cases decades.
He spoke to media Monday, March 16, after a meeting that gathered employees to learn about signing up for unemployment benefits and for tips on where to go to prepare resumes.
