Ryan Sheck, Intern

On Friday, June 27, downtown Otsego hosted its first ladies’ night out, a promotional event organized by Otsego Main Street that drew crowds of shoppers to the new businesses in Otsego.

Molly Wieber, Main Street manager, said that the downtown revitalization effort had a better turnout than expected.

“For every (event) we put together we usually get twice as many as people as we think,” Wieber said. “(We made) 200 goodie bags and the line is around the corner. It’s crazy.”
