NASCAR star Kyle Busch to race at Kalamazoo Speedway Aug. 13
Kalamazoo Klash XXII featuring NASCAR superstar Kyle Busch has Kalamazoo Speedway officials predicting the biggest event in the history of the Alamo Township race track.
The races kick off Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 6:30 p.m.
Busch will race in both the Kalamazoo Klash Outlaw Late Model 150-lap race and the ARCA/CRA Super Series 100-lap race.
Race day will include practice and qualifying for both late model classes, an autograph session with drivers from both classes on the track and 250-laps of racing. Only 200 VIP meet and greet wristbands will be offered for seating on the park deck, dinner, and autographs with Kyle Busch from 5 to 6 p.m.
Open practice is on Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Pit gates open at 4:30 p.m.
Pit gates open on Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 9 a.m. Hot laps start at 1 p.m.
Rain date is Thursday, Aug. 14.
The Klash A feature payout is $10,000.
