Tiger baseball team runs winning streak to five straight

Allegan baseball coach John Bishop might need to get his heart checked out after the stress his team has put him through in recent times.
Trailing 1-0 with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning in the second game of a doubleheader against Godwin Heights on Friday, May 23, the Tigers rallied for two runs to claim the 2-1 victory.
Allegan also won the opening game in walk-off fashion (3-2), giving them three walk-off victories in their previous four games. The Tigers ran their overall winning streak to five straight.
“It was a dramatic way to cap off a perfect 5-0 week,” Bishop said.
