Members of the Allegan girls’ tennis team left no doubt about which team was the best in the Wolverine Conference as the Tigers made it to the finals of all eight flights and won seven.

If there were any questions regarding which girls’ tennis team was the best in the Wolverine Conference, then they were answered at the league tournament on Saturday, May 10.
Allegan made it to the finals in all eight flights, winning seven of them, to finish with 95 points and claim yet another conference championship.
Berrien Springs was runner-up with 80 points, followed by a third-place tie between Edwardsburg and Vicksburg with 74 points. Paw Paw was fifth with 59 points, while Otsego (47 points) and Plainwell (41 points) finished sixth and seventh, respectively.
“I thought we played very well in the finals,” Allegan coach Jen Aldrich said. “It’s always nice to see the girls have success.”
